The day for your session has finally arrived and you may be feeling several different emotions…nervous, anxious, or if you’re like me, excitement! I’m so excited to capture your precious moments and I am writing this post in hopes to calm any nerves you may have and also to hopefully get you excited about your session like I am! 

First, you can expect to see me when you pull up as I typically arrive to your session 30-45 minutes prior to your scheduled time. You’ll find me with a camera around my neck, sometimes a wagon carrying all my gear and props, as well as my trusty assistant, who happens to be my daughter.

Secondly, you can expect me to lead and guide you throughout your session. Most clients, feel some awkwardness at the beginning and that is mostly because they don’t really know what to expect or do, so I like to get you to relax by just chatting with you and getting to know you a little bit. I’ll check my camera settings and pose you to start just to get you to loosen up and then after that it’s smooth sailing! While I do posed shots, I prefer a more natural method of posing you and I achieve that with prompts. I’ll prompt you to do different activities or actions and what transpires is truly beautiful! 

Last, but not least, you can expect to have loads of fun! The greatest feedback I get from my clients is how much fun they had especially when they weren’t expecting to have any fun at all. 😂
