So many brides had to postpone or change their wedding plans due to Covid-19. Last year we saw far more intimate weddings because of various restrictions that were in place. I have to admit, I am pretty partial to small private ceremonies as I had one myself when I married the love of my life back in 2006. Alma and Alex’s wedding didn’t disappoint! It had everything a larger wedding has just on a smaller scale!
While the bride and groom were getting ready, I photographed all the lovely details.
The table settings were so beautifully done it’s hard to believe a professional didn’t put together.
Did someone say cake? Alma got this beautiful cake from Central Market in Poulsbo. We didn’t stay for cake, but the cupcakes from Bella Bella Cupcakes in Silverdale were to die for!
Whether you choose to have a small intimate wedding or a large grand one, getting ready photos are a must for both the groom and the bride.
I absolutely L O V E capturing brides getting ready! From the quiet moments to themselves to the precious moments between mother and daughter, these are a must have for any wedding album. Isn’t Alma absolutely stunning in her vintage style gown from BHLDN?!?
We headed down to Historic Downtown Poulsbo for the First Look, Family, and Bride and Groom Portraits. The lighting, location, and subjects were perfect!
We were running late and almost skipped the iconic London phone booth photos and boy am I glad we didn’t! These ended up being some of my favorite portraits of the day! There were no shortage of “well wishes” from the many passersby downtown!
The ceremony was amazing and beautiful with the twinkling lights and candles. There wasn’t a dry eye at the service.
Congratulations and best wishes Alma and Alex! Thank you for trusting me to capture this special day in your lives! ❤️
