Can I be vulnerable with you for a moment?

This song has been playing on repeat in my head for the last several days and has been a great comfort since losing my mom. Nothing can prepare you for the loss of a loved one, but somehow we find the will to keep pressing forward through the pain. I am thankful for an amazing husband who has been my rock though all of this. I am thankful for my children…as I look upon them I am able to experience joy even when my heart is hurting. I am thankful to God who has granted me strength and peace far beyond what I could have ever hoped for.

I write this through tears and I am sharing this because I know there are so many others out there hurting too. I want to encourage you…don’t lose heart. Find joy where you can even if it’s in the little things.
